First Friday at studio/gallery 6- May 2, 2008

This month features wood sculpture by Brant Harrison from Nags Head, NC and mixed media by Todd S. Hale. My Son the Doctor (pictured below) also return for their second show at studio/gallery 6, playing a blend of gypsy and Yiddish music. The evening will benefit WRIR 97.3, Richmond Indie Radio, a great source for sounds and ideas you won't hear anywhere else. The opening is from 7pm-12am-ish.
After the show head over to Capital Ale House in downtown Richmond for The Cashmere Jungle Lords CD release party. The Jungle Lords are celebrating the re-release of the classic Cashmere Jungle Lords/Oodjie-Boodjie Night-Night. They are amazing live and were a sweaty sensation here at studio/gallery 6. Richmond legends.

Friday April 4 from 7pm-12am Studio/Gallery 6 will show new paintings and drawings on paper by Kendra Wadsworth and mixed media by Todd S. Hale. Featuring live music by the ORIOLES. The event is part of First Fridays and the proceeds from the bar will benefit the United States Equine Rescue League. The organization rehabilitates and rescues horses that are neglected and abused and is a sponsor of the 76th Running of the Strawberry Hill Races. Saturday April 12.
